Laurel MacQuarrie was invited to participate at Collins Elementary school in Hillsborough County, as part of the Great American Teach-in on November 16, 2017. This was her first time back in a school in over two years since recovering from her auto accident. She felt great to be surrounded again by a large roomful of enthusiastic children, eager to learn about Seefus Slug.
